Taming the young exuberance of an Islay single malt is not easy, but our time-proven method of bringing it to maturation first in a refill cask and then with a long finish of 64 months in a first fill ex-bourbon hogshead is always a guarantee for success.

The whisky from this Speyside distillery is usually sunnily fruity and medium bodied, with noteworthy complexity. We chose to enhance its fruitiness and spiciness with a very long finish of 62 months in a fresh Pedro Ximenez barrel.
